Join the Chicago Teachers Union on March 3 to benefit Special Children’s Charities and Special Olympics Chicago.

Team CTU is gearing up for another year of the Polar Plunge and putting together a team to raise money to benefit individuals living with disabilities—many of whom are in special education programs throughout the city.

As a union of educators, we support our students any way we can, especially by partnering with charitable organizations like Special Olympics Chicago to show how proud we are of the strides that children living with disabilities and their families make every day. This is our chance to give back to them outside of the classroom and support their development by taking part in a Chicago tradition.

Participants will collect pledges and raise funds to support programs enjoyed by nearly 5,000 Special Olympics Chicago athletes throughout the year. Please visit ctulocal1.org/polar to donate to Team CTU, or better yet, register as an individual to take the Plunge! (NOTE: Our wave time is 11 a.m.)
