Fight for Safe Learning
The mayor and CPS want to force students and educators into unsafe in-person learning, without spending the time or energy to make necessary improvements. Remote learning is a heavy burden, but it beats sickness and death any day.
Students, parents and educators can only count on ourselves to make the best of remote learning. For that reason, the CTU Membership Committee is promoting network wide meetings. Members will meet to discuss solutions and organizing steps towards improving remote learning and safe return to school. Educators will discuss how to involve parents and community members in this campaign.
