Intersection of S. Dearborn and W. Adams
The CTU is organizing a contingent as part of the October 8 Abortion and Full Reproductive Rights National Day of Action. We invite you, your family, and friends to march with the CTU banner, so that you can stand up and be counted. Say NO to criminalization, victimization, and discrimination!
Please wear green for reproductive rights or your CTU red!
The right to make our own decisions about whether and when to have children is an essential part of the right to control our own bodies and our lives. Reproductive autonomy is one piece of the movement for equal rights. This is not happening in isolation. It is part of a broader right-wing attack on bodily autonomy and the freedom to live as we choose. While voting for pro-choice, pro-worker candidates in November is vital, it’s not enough. We must build a strong movement in the streets.
Bridget Doherty-Trebing, the chair of the CTU’s Women’s Rights Committee and an art teacher at Taft High School, will be addressing the rally.
