Dec 15: Bilingual Ed/ESL Teacher Endorsement Cohort Winter 2024
As a result of our 2019 contract win, CPS offers reduced tuition opportunities with partner universities, usually once a year. We know that given the influx of newcomers in our schools, the need for bilingual/ESL endorsed teachers is urgent. As a result, we have worked with CPS and urged them to open an additional cohort. If you are interested please attend one of the informational sessions detailed here or reach out to the university contact for additional information. Applications are due Dec. 15 at 5 p.m.

Dec. 18: Bilingual education ALL-member Meeting
Do you have bilingual education students in your classroom? Join us to review the contract proposals that the CTU Bilingual Committee has brainstormed. We also want to hear from teachers who have languages other than Spanish in their classroom. We know our bilingual students speak many different languages and we want to make sure your voice is heard! What did we get right? What’s missing? We need your input! RSVP here:
