CHICAGO—CTU officers and attorneys who waited for hours for CPS to join them in bargaining today will hold a press conference at 7:15 p.m. tonight, Sunday, January 31, to update the press and the public on the status of bargaining. CPS announced this evening that it would be locking out educators who continue to teach remotely on Monday before the Union and CPS have landed an agreement on a safe path to reopen classrooms.
