CTU Endorsements
The CTU engages rank-and-file members at all levels to democratically determine whom CTU will endorse. The process took three major steps:
- CTU’s rank and file Political Action Committee interviewed candidates using a comprehensive rubric to weigh their merits.
- CTU’s elected, rank and file Executive Board previewed the PAC’s recommendations and approved them for action by delegates.
- CTU’s House of Delegates, after a week to preview and discuss recommended endorsements with colleagues, voted by a strong majority of the more than 600 elected delegates present to approve the endorsements.
